So the Asus Zenfone 9 comes along and delivers my top priorities in a phone way better than the pixel 6 (LONG battery life, small size, not as heavy as a brick) with an even faster chip
Thereare just a lot of things to love about that phone. I think (without much real-world evidence at this point) Pixel 7 does fine on battery life. The tensor g2 chip is pretty good with energy usage. Performance wise, Zenfone 9 wins for Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, and for camera and software support, Pixel 7 wins.
Ifthe features of Pixel are important to you, go with the 6A. If you prefer the specific features of Zenfone 8, a faster refresh rate display, possibly better wireless connectivity, the camera setup of the Zenfone 9, go with the Zenfone 9. I have the Zenfone 8. It's nice for a phone.

Throughmy research, I came across a Zenfone 8 for 429 euros. This phone and price attempt me, but I am not sure if I should buy this one due to the older release date and few updates offered by ASUS. I would like to have a Zenfone 9, but 800 euros feels way too much, and an iPhone mini would be more compact for the same price.
